Cherry Spitz is a comedy group comprised of some of Southern California’s brightest and most talented improv professionals. Over the years they have performed shows for countless audiences, delighting crowds with their cutting edge style of comedy.
Between LA and Orange County, the Cherry Spitz have appeared at nearly every venue the Southland has to offer. From theaters and comedy clubs to dorms and book festivals, the Spitz always entertain crowds wherever they go.
Founded in 2003 by a group of high school friends and fellow improv enthusiasts, the team was originally named The Cherry Spitz Fan Club after a scene that was performed at the first meeting – and since then there have been countless legends about the group’s true origin.
Although members have come and gone throughout the years the Cherry Spitz remain dedicated to performing the highest caliber comedy for audiences. Whether it’s live improv, sketch comedy, or their long-running podcast, one thing’s for sure: You’re always guaranteed a good time with Cherry Spitz.
